a camper van has the dual purpose and competing needs of being both a place to rest and rejuvenation and a means of travel and exploration. we split the colour and material design with this in mind.
The driver and co-pilot space was designed to provide a bright and invigorating environment. Large windows and bright materials blur the lines between the cab and the trail. drawing the eye to the outdoors and encouraging spontaneous detours.
The detailing of the cab is inspired by our favourite outdoors and mountaineering gear. Adjustable webbing straps in the doors secure jackets and gear for quick access. molle panels cut into the walls and headliner provide modular ways to secure your gear.
In contrast, the sleeping portion of the vehicle feels calm and cozy with a focus on natural wood, wool, and down. colour temperature adjustable cove lighting gives a usable ambiance at night.
